Home to World leading artists and a hot bed of new talent Herefordshire has lots to offer art enthusiasts. The famous h.Art trail gives a unique chance to explore Herefordshire’s breath taking scenery, fabulous castles and historical buildings and sample it’s fantastic local produce, alongside discovering wonderful art.
Herefordshire Art Week has a huge variety of art on show with at least 16 different media, 170 individual artists and approximately 100 different venues across the whole county, visitors will be spoilt for choice.
H.Art is an ideal opportunity for art-lovers to explore and discover new works, buy/commission work or just be inspired. The event runs from 10th -18th September 2016, 11am – 5pm daily.
Canwood Gallery (CG) is delighted to be launching for H.Art on Saturday 10th September 2016 with an exceptional mixture of internationally-renowned and local artists. Visitors will enjoy the opportunity to see the inspiring work of Carl Andre, and Angela Conner, and also exclusive photographs by the late, great Peter Sellers. Herefordshire’s most exciting talent will be on show including Walenty Pytel, Ed Elliot, Angela Holden, Rob Parkin, Walter van Straaten, Simon Meiklejohn, Mark Houghton, Caro Burberry, Ben Esthop, Simon Probyn and Will Carr. Together with sublime sculpture by Heather Jansch, Dominic Welsh, Jonathan Loxley and paintings by Deborah Roberts.
