Canwood Gallery Artist Series – Deborah Roberts

A rare opportunity to see original paintings of the stars of global opera, each one individually signed.
Opera and art have always gone hand-in-hand and the style of these paintings show the depth of emotion,
character and romance that is also present in their music.

Midlands based artist Deborah Roberts’ work is inspired by her love for art and music.
Following a long-forgotten tradition of signed opera portraits, her work captures in paint once more
some of the great composers, conductors and opera singers on the world’s opera stages today.
Deborah’s portraiture skills have also been endorsed by leading musicians included in this unique collection
and each portrait has been personally signed by the subject themselves.

Deborah’s first portrait was signed and authenticated by World’s beloved tenor Andrea Bocelli.
The painting has since been moderated and accepted on the BBC ‘History of the World’ website.
